Universidad Central de Quito

One of Ecuador’s most emblematic public Universities that collaborates with Terrafertil through their Agronomy department by supporting the Farmer Filed School application and providing technical support to the MINAS farmer association

Universidad técnica del Norte

This university is located close to the Terrafertil goldenberry production region and has a renowned agricultural studies department. The University of the North partners with Terrafertil by supporting the Farmer Filed School implementation in the AZAMA farmer association.

UNICEF

UNICEF works with partners in over 190 countries to promote policies and expand access to services that protect all children. Terrafertil works with UNICEF in Ecuador as an active member of “Network of companies for an Ecuador free of Child Labor” hosted by UNICEF.

Agrocalidad

Agrocalidad is the public agency in charge of control and regulation for the protection and improvement of animal health, plant health and food safety. Terrafertil works side by side with Agrocalidad to ensure food safety of the company’s products.

Aliados Foundation

Aliados is an Ecuadorian and US non-profit with the mission to build community enterprise that conserves biodiversity in the planet’s most important and vulnerable ecosystems. Aliados collaborates with Terrafertil on the design and implementation the Goldenberry Plan; providing third party impact monitoring and evaluation, and technical support with farmer and association empowerment.

Colombian Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development

This Ministry is in charge of formulating policies for the development of the Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development Sector for Colombia, and is the institution responsible for the “Coseche y Venda a la Fija’ program. This groundbreaking program seeks to benefit 300,000 farmers, linking them with markets and providing credit options at very low interest rates, as well as crop insurance. Terrafertil Colombia works to support the inclusion of Terrafertil farmers in this program so that they can access low-rate loans to increase areas planted with goldenberry and increase their incomes.

CAR

CAR is the public institution in Colombia in charge of developing and implementing policies, plans, programs and projects related to the environment and renewable natural resources.

Terrafertil works with CAR (specifically with the Zipaquirá Chamber of Commerce) by developing energy saving and carbon footprint reduction programs carried out at the Terrafertil plant in Zipaquirá.
